  • INSTALLATION METHODS

    DRY INSTALLATION

The dry installation allows for the positioning of the slabs directly onto substrates in grass, gravel or sand to create pedestrian pathways that can be immediately walked upon. Easy and quick, this type of application does not require the use of adhesive or the intervention of specialised laying technicians.

    RAISED INSTALLATION

The raised installation for outdoor application allows for the creation of a technical gap of variable height between the substrate and the foot plan. It can be replaced and inspected at any time without damaging the surface and allows irrigation systems, pipes and lighting systems to be concealed.

    TRADITIONAL ADHESIVE INSTALLATION

The traditional adhesive installation onto screed guarantees an excellent breakage load thanks to the performance of 20mm thickness ceramics. This installation method represents the perfect solution for carriageable and cycle lanes.

    PRECAUTIONS FOR CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning and maintenance procedures can be carried out using a common neutral detergent and a direct water jet: the draining power of inclined surfaces and the presence of open joints between slabs encourages the collection of dirt near the discharge points.

For large surfaces, it is recommended the use of a washer-dryer and single-brush machines with soft nylon brushes.

Please note that a water patina, due to the surface tension feature of liquids, will tend to form on any outdoor surface even when inclined properly. To remove this patina and obtain the complete drying of the floor, it is recommended to push the water towards joints using a scrubbing-brush or to use a wet and dry vacuum cleaner.
