Atlas Concorde at Coverings 2017
Atlas Concorde was one of the main attractions at the 2017 edition of Coverings, the leading trade show in North America dedicated to the ceramic and natural stone industry held in Orlando, Florida on 4-7 April. American visitors to the trade show saw collections of floor and wall tiles in an exhibition area dedicated to hospitality and retail, contexts inspired by contemporary lifestyles.
At Coverings, Atlas Concorde presented its Marvel Gems floor and wall tiles, a collection that interprets Venetian Terrazzo in a contemporary way, the marble- and stone-effect surfaces of Marvel Stone, the three-dimensional ceramic wall tiles of the 3D Wall Design collection, the Room collection of floor and wall tiles with a fabric look and the large porcelain slabs of Marvel XL. The exhibition space also featured collections of outdoor floor tiles for designing contemporary outdoor spaces.
In addition, important space was made for Mek, the collection of floor and wall tiles for interiors that interpret a modern look with a hint of metal.
Atlas Concorde products were joined by collections from Atlas Concorde USA, the brand launched in 2016 with lines designed for the US market, including Native, Jute, Plaster and Chester.
Besides participating in the trade show, Atlas Concorde was also a supplier to the Installation Design Showcase – Tiny House Edition, a special event that saw the construction of three miniature houses within the Coverings event, bringing together the design ideas of internationally renowned designers and selected installers. The collections consisting of porcelain floor and white clay wall tiles Dwell and Marvel Stone, and the spectacular three-dimensional wall tiles of 3D Wall Design, were chosen by designer Kim Lewis to furnish the “Palm Springs” tiny house that revisits the style of a retro bungalow.
