4. EXTRA-ORDINARY CLEANING

cap4_mat-sma-lap-lev-str

EXTRA-ORDINARY CLEANING should only be undertaken using the SPECIALISED EQUIPMENT (any type of stain or rim) and should not be considered as an alternative to EVERYDAY ORDINARY CLEANING.

The cleaning process is achieved following a CHEMICAL REACTION between the detergent and the equipment, therefore, depending on the nature of the dirt, cleaning can be carried out using the correct detergent as set out in the table below.

These procedures are carried out using a damp sponge or floor cloth depending on the type of cleaning equipment and, after cleaning, the floor must be thoroughly rinsed and allowed to dry.

CAUTION:
1. THE SUGGESTIONS ABOVE ARE THE RESULT OF MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, RESEARCH AND STRINGENT TESTS CARRIED OUT IN LABORATORY CONDITIONS.
2. IT MUST BE CLEARLY STATED THAT THE EFFICIENCY OF THE MATERIALS IN TERMS OF THEIR TENDENCY TO BECOME DIRTY AND THEIR CLEANABILITY ARE WORSE IN CASE OF ANTI-SLIP MATERIALS.
3. THE PROFESSIONAL ASSIGNED THE TASK OF PERFORMING THE EXTRAORDINARY CLEANING MUST ALWAYS FIRST TEST A SMALL SECTION OF THE TILES (POSSIBLY ON AN IDENTICAL TILE THAT WAS NOT LAID, ALTERNATIVELY ON TILE THAT HAS BEEN LAID, BUT THAT IS NOT READILY VISIBLE) FOR EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE EXAMPLES SET OUT ABOVE.
4. IT IS UNDERSTOOD THAT ATLAS CONCORDE CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY SUBSEQUENT DAMAGE OF DEFECTS OF TILES FOLLOWING NEGLIGENT CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OR IN CASES WHERE WEAR IS PARTICULARLY HEAVY AND ALSO CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE LISTED CLEANING OR MAITENANCE PROCEDURES.
