From 10 May to 23 November 2025, as part of the 19th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, “Resourceful Intelligence” will take shape, an installation that offers a concrete reflection on one of the most pressing questions of our time: how can we continue to build without depending on primary resources?

Atlas Concorde strongly supports this project, which fits in with the theme proposed by curator Carlo Ratti — ‘Intelligences. Natural. Artificial. Collective’ — and offers a new perspective on building: no longer based on extraction, but on transformation, reuse and shared design intelligence.

The installation, housed at the Corderie dell'Arsenale, was conceived by Park, an interdisciplinary collective based in Milan, in collaboration with Accurat and a research group from the Politecnico di Milano. The project is developed around two vertical walls that become true symbols of circular architecture: the first is made of regenerated glass obtained from old windows and doors of the historic Palazzo Missori, while the second is composed of clinker tiles carefully removed from the former Hotel Michelangelo in Milan.

Behind the two structures, a research video explores the existing building heritage of the city of Milan, highlighting how existing buildings can become real repositories of reusable material, in a new circular urban logic.

At the end of the Biennale, the materials will return to their respective construction sites, thus completing a virtuous design cycle, which starts with recovery, moves on to exhibition and then re-enters real construction processes.

Atlas Concorde participates in this dialogue between design, sustainability and project culture, actively promoting visions capable of connecting aesthetics, innovation and environmental responsibility.
