La Terrazza by Atlas Concorde
The main design references declared by Park were 'Italian architecture, the protagonist of classic and arthouse Italian cinema, and the installation by Park Associati Resourceful Intelligence'.
Guided by the desire to recreate a warm and elegant environment, Park imagined La Terrazza by Atlas Concorde as a functional, welcoming and beautiful space, structured into different themed areas, from the bar counter to the show cooking area and the lounge area. 'An evocative setting, which used architectural elements as theatrical backdrops, particularly highlighted Atlas Concorde's products in La Terrazza,' says Park. For the project, two different porcelain stoneware surfaces from Atlas Concorde's Marvel Diva Collection were chosen: Taj Mahal and Sky Stone, which stand out for their striking uniqueness and the refined identity of their marble effect.
"Taj Mahal uniformly covers the architectural volumes of the counters and, in contrast, we decided to use Sky Stone, a material with a more decisive, pronounced texture and colours that reflect the sea in front of the terrace." Park
Finally, the presence of Italian design excellence products punctuates the space in line with the project guidelines, defined by the Studio as "a moment in which different creative languages meet and find inspiration in mutual dialogue." Artemide's iconic lamps embellished the stage of the Terrazza by Atlas Concorde: from the Takku portable light by Foster + Partners Industrial Design to the Se|eS lamps created by Carolina Gismondi De Bevilacqua, which illuminate and reflect the surrounding space, customised for the occasion with Atlas Plan materials; Modulnova's kitchen, whose design combines functionality and aesthetics, and Fast's chairs and sofas, elegant outdoor furniture that blends tradition and innovation.
