Atlas Concorde pour The One Hotel Caorle

Atlas Concorde ceramic surfaces customize the spaces of the four-star hotel on the Venetian coast

The One Hotel has reopened after a restyling project. Hospitality, conviviality, fitness area, infinity pool, and business areas offer guests a magnificent experience. We met with the representatives of the general contractor FEBC to learn about the project’s development.

Situated just 50 meters from the sea, with views ranging from the blue of the Adriatic to the historic village of Caorle, The One Hotel is an interesting redevelopment and revitalization project for the local region. Conceived not only as a hotel for tourists, but also as a meeting place open to all. An eight-story building that also saw the reconstruction of the adjacent square, as part of a global renovation of the area. A number of choices characterize the structure, from the transparent balconies to the panoramic elevators that allow the gaze to sweep over the landscape, not to mention the infinity pool on the roof and the Stelù Restaurant and Pommery 360° Skybar. The interiors, produced by the general contractor FEBC, are fresh and contemporary, with large common areas: 74 rooms, 18 family suites, and a spa/wellness area. The furnishings and finishes are a mix of custom solutions and selections from major Italian brands. In fact, Atlas Concorde collections were chosen for the floor and wall tiles. We asked FEBC representatives a few questions.

How were the materials chosen within the project?Materials and colors have a great impact on the psychology and perception of spaces. That's why it's important to figure out how to enrich the user's experience when they enter the lobby, check into their room, and sit down in the restaurant. In the design of The One Hotel, an analysis of the space and functions was performed in order to convey a perception of high quality through the choice of Atlas Concorde floor and wall tiles.

What was the criterion for designing the color palette?A very clear, basic palette was identified to make the spaces more open and bright, even in parts not reached by sufficient natural light. Neutral nuances bring out the colorful furnishings, maintaining an elegant, fresh appearance.

Why were marble-look porcelain tiles chosen? The warm, delicate shades of the marble effect give the user the feeling of being in a luxurious, elegant space. The matte finish identified in the Atlas Concorde catalog is more modern than the "classic" polished marble. With their extensive range of textures and colors, the Atlas Concorde tiles welcome guests right from the entrance, where the marble effect of Marvel Pro adds movement and elegance to the spaces in the Cremo Delicato shade. The same solution is taken up in the rooms, where it is combined in the bathroom with three-dimensional wall tiles. Details such as veins and color transitions are reproduced with extreme fidelity, achieving an effect that is natural both to the eye and to the touch.

Finally, Atlas Concorde stone-look tiles are featured in the fitness area, on the panoramic terrace with infinity pool, and in all the outdoor spaces. The graphic richness of the tiles and slabs are in perfect harmony with the simple mood  of the project and with the latest trends in hotels that prioritize functional, airy, livable spaces. The use of porcelain tiles also guarantees healthiness, ease of maintenance and cleaning, and resistance to stains and scratches, maintaining a perfect esthetic performance of the material over time.
