Clerkenwell Design Week 2026 - A New Space for Design

18 May 2026

Atlas Concorde has revamped its London showroom and is presenting itself at Clerkenwell Design Week 2026 with a fresh identity: Atlas Concorde Studio London has evolved from an exhibition space into a strategic hub for international architects, interior designers and developers.

Opened in 2021 in the heart of Clerkenwell — one of the world’s most renowned districts for architecture and design culture — the studio now embodies One Space – The Atlas Concorde Ceramic Ecosystem: an integrated approach in which surfaces, large slabs and furnishings interact through a coordinated design language, ensuring aesthetic and technical continuity between materials, functions and spaces.

Design Week is also an opportunity for discussion and the exchange of design ideas. In collaboration with Sleeper — the leading international magazine dedicated to hospitality design — Atlas Concorde Studio London is hosting a talk featuring some of the industry’s leading figures: international hotel chains, interior design studios and developers active in the UK market, for a discussion on the role of surfaces in shaping the identity of contemporary hospitality spaces.

The exhibition layout: living room, kitchen, bathroom and large slabs

The new showroom is divided into themed areas that showcase the potential applications of Atlas Concorde, Atlas Plan and Atlas Concorde Habitat surfaces.

In the living area, the Giotto tables from the Tratto collection, designed by Piero Lissoni, interact with the surfaces to create a cohesive narrative between furniture and wall and floor coverings. The kitchen highlights the concept of material continuity between worktops, backsplashes and vertical surfaces. The bathroom area interprets the One Space concept in its most complete form: furniture and washbasins made entirely of ceramic, where surfaces, volumes and functions converge in a single design language.

The area dedicated to the large Atlas Plan slabs showcases the expressive potential of the large format through the Marvel Epic and Marvel Diva collections, amplifying the perception of space and illustrating the contemporary evolution of the marble effect, balancing aesthetic innovation with technical performance.

3D parametric ceramics: research into high-performance façades with One Works

At the heart of the new showroom is an exhibition dedicated to 3D parametric ceramics applied to contemporary building envelopes, developed in collaboration with One Works, an international architecture and urban engineering firm with offices in Milan, London, Rome, Venice, Dubai and Singapore.

The installation explores the role of ceramics no longer as a simple cladding surface, but as an active architectural element: capable of contributing to the building’s visual identity, the modulation of light and the perceptual quality of the façade.

This theme is of particular relevance in the UK market, where the focus on the building envelope, safety, energy performance and Net Zero targets is redefining the role of the façade in residential, hospitality and mixed-use projects. The research conducted with One Works opens up a concrete reflection on the possibilities of ceramics as an advanced material for contemporary urban architecture.

Atlas Concorde has an established presence in the UK, backed by major project references such as Embassy Gardens Sky Pool and Royal Arsenal Riverside. These are complemented by collaborations with international architectural firms such as HBA and Zaha Hadid Architects, which underscore the brand’s commitment to research, design quality and engagement with leading figures in contemporary architecture.
