Alcove & Prime at Nashville Yards: two residential towers designed by Goettsch Partners

In the heart of Nashville, Goettsch Partners has designed Alcove Nashville and Prime Apartments Nashville: two residential towers conceived as a system. Atlas Concorde surfaces adorn the lobby and amenities, defining the atmosphere and everyday use. A project that measures vertical living in terms of proportions, common spaces and materials.

The Alcove and Prime residential towers embody a new idea of luxury living, integrating perfectly into the innovative Nashville Yards district. Designed in response to the new demands of urban densification, the two complexes use Atlas Concorde porcelain stoneware in marble and stone effects, creating a measured balance between aesthetics, functionality and sustainability. Alcove and Prime stand out for their integrated design, where common areas become part of the architectural identity.

There are three key elements to the project: • Complementarity: two towers conceived as a single urban entity • Common areas: lobby and amenities as an extension of the residential experience • Materials: surfaces that combine aesthetic quality, durability and low maintenance

Nashville Yards and urban verticalism: integrated design

The Alcove and Prime residential towers have been designed to function as a single entity, with an integrated design that enhances both aesthetics and efficiency. Alcove, with its minimalist style, stands out for its use of materials that influence the experience of space, creating elegant yet functional environments. Prime, on the other hand, is more vertical and monolithic, with a design that emphasises solidity and order, making it perfectly suited to contemporary luxury living requirements.

"The towers should be considered complementary, not autonomous: it is the integrated design that makes them part of the urban context, between residences and high-quality functional spaces." — Vladimir Andrejevic, Principal, Goettsch Partners

Alcove Nashville: minimalism, common spaces and material quality

Alcove interprets a contemporary idea of urban luxury, where the marble effect of Atlas Concorde's Marvel Shine Calacatta Prestigio tiles creates an elegant contrast with the bold geometries of the architecture. These tiles are used for the floors and walls of the lobby and Resident Lounge, offering refinement without excess, in perfect balance with the sculptural form of the building. Marble-effect porcelain stoneware is not only aesthetically refined, but also practical, durable and easy to maintain.

"The marble effect is not only aesthetic, but also gives the building a distinctive identity that amplifies the luxury experience. The tiles enhance the visual and sensory experience of the spaces, creating a unique atmosphere for residents." — Vladimir Andrejevic, Principal, Goettsch Partners

Prime Apartments: monolithic verticality and contemporary language

Prime stands out for its verticality and monolithic appearance, which is enhanced by the use of Boot Stone tiles in White for the lobby and amenities, and Boost Pro concrete-effect tiles in Tobacco and Cream for the bathrooms. This use of porcelain stoneware, with modern finishes, reinforces Prime's contemporary and bold character, making it a residential tower that meets new aesthetic and functional requirements.

From vision to detail: the choice of Atlas Concorde surfaces

Alcove and Prime are examples of how luxury residential architecture can evolve, with a perfect balance between design, materials and functionality. Thanks to the use of Atlas Concorde porcelain stoneware, these towers not only offer modern and sustainable residences, but also a luxuryliving experience that reflects the identity and needs of today's Nashville.
