Inaugurated in 2010, the Gyor university and research centre in Hungary provides a splendid example of contemporary architecture: luminous and essential, the structure expresses a perfect geometry and a transparency designed to create the right equilibrium between interior settings and outdoor spaces.

The architect Andras Gelesz chose Atlas Concorde’s Milestone collection, making use of two of the three surface finishes available: the natural version for flooring the entrances, main hall and all the corridors, and the textured version for the outdoor areas and pathways. An interesting play of colours was achieved using the Alaska, Canyon, and Desert shades to geometrically define the various spaces.
