Atlas Concorde considers transparency to be a top priority. Indeed, all employees are informed about the risks present in the company and are constantly updated on the latest health and safety information. This allows them to be fully aware of the environment they are working in, establishing a relationship of mutual trust with the company. 

Based on their duties, employees receive specific training and instruction on the proper use of machinery and equipment from manufacturers or more experienced co-workers.  Best practices and skills thus become shared assets for the benefit of all.

Raising staff awareness: consultation and participation

Atlas Concorde always consults with its employees in order to cooperate in putting in place the most efficient procedures for improving safety in the workplace.  

Interviews, inspections, meetings, sharing of objectives: the dialog between the company and its workers is always ongoing and collaborative in order to gather experiences and suggestions in the field that when properly developed allow for an increase in levels of safety and wellbeing.  

An example of this constructive process is the successful investigation of "Near Misses," which makes it possible to identify situations that are a source of potential risk and take action before an injury or damage to health occurs. Workers have enthusiastically participated in the process, helping to reduce the risk of accidents.

VERTICAL WAREHOUSE: Automation and technological innovation for risk reduction

Atlas Concorde uses innovation and technology to increase safety and decrease risk, especially where human-machine interaction is most intense. In this regard, the logistical investment in an Automated Vertical Warehouse was a key turning point. Decreasing the number of forklifts in circulation, increasing the space per employee, making shipping more efficient, and improving traffic flow all contribute greatly to improving the safety and healthiness of the Atlas Concorde work environment.
